The diagnostic test for COVID-19 is quick and non-invasive. In order to see if you're currently infected with the virus, a healthcare worker will collect a sample from deep inside the nose using what looks like an extra-long Q-tip. Currently, there is a prolonged turnaround time for lab results, up to 10 days.
Patients must be referred for COVID-19 testing by a licensed healthcare provider, a county health department, or the New York State Department of Health. Please call your physician if you're experiencing symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who's tested positive for COVID-19.
The site can be reached by turning off of Church Street onto Myrtle Street. Please turn left to enter 59 Myrtle Street Park and follow the signs to get to the site.

Antibodies develop in your blood approximately 1-3 weeks after your initial infection with COVID-19. A healthcare professional will collect a tube of blood from your arm, and you will receive results within 24-48 hours. If you have these infection-fighting proteins in your system, then you had and successfully overcame COVID-19. Talk with your healthcare provider about your history, concerns, and other symptoms. Antibody testing may not be suited for everyone.
Antibody testing is offered at all outpatient laboratory locations.
